Hailing from Michigan, Robert Lux landed in Brooklyn in 2011. As a DJ, Producer and Songwriter whose tastes are rooted in Electronica, Disco , and Funk, he is known for pulling together dance music styles that are both accessible and experimental, classic and contemporary, always fresh, always funky. Robert Lux is consistently moving crowds at venues as diverse as at OUTPUT (Brooklyn), Marquee NY, Brooklyn Bowl, Cielo, World Cafe Live (Philly), Best Buy Theater, Hudson Terrace, to major national festival stages like Lollapalooza, SummerCamp, and Rombello Cruise amongst many others. Notably Robert Lux was a featured performer at2014’s Super Bowl XLVIII official in stadium Pre-Party. Drawing from his experiences as a performer, songwriter, and producer with Electro-RnB project Pegasus Warning, Future Soul Singer Raycee Jones, and dance-pop band Ella Riot as well as a solo producer of electronic and dance music, his DJ sets are always on point, thought-provoking and uplifting.
